Hello and welcome to room 119!
2023-2024 will mark my 32nd year teaching. My past experiences include teaching 4th grade in York, Pennsylvania, teaching 3rd and 4th grade at Spring Creek (Houserville) Elementary, serving as a K-5 Elementary Curriculum Support Teacher in math and science, and teaching 6th grade here at MNMS for 20+ years. I am also a "local" having graduated from State College Area High School and Penn State University.
As you can see, my family loves to travel. We have camped throughout the United States, seeing many historical landmarks and hiking in many state and national parks along the way. My favorite states have been Montana, Colorado, and Oregon. I have explored Italy, France, and Spain as a People-to-People leader, and I have also visited Australia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Singapore, England, Scotland, Portugal, and Grand Cayman. Other than traveling, my favorite hobbies are reading, hiking, and skiing!
